Anna Leigh Waters swept the Veolia Chicago Cup for her 45th Triple Crown and 200th PPA Tour title, while Roscoe Bellamy stunned top seed Chris Haworth in men's singles.

The PPA Tour's first stop in the Chicago area will be remembered for one number. At the Veolia Chicago Cup (5–11 October 2026, Life Time North Shore, Northbrook, Illinois), Anna Leigh Waters won her 200th PPA Tour title, and she did it in style with a Triple Crown sweep, the 45th of her career.

The road to 200

Waters arrived on 199 after missing out on the milestone in Las Vegas the week before. In Chicago she left nothing to chance:

  • Women's singles: beat Kate Fahey 11-1, 11-7.
  • Women's doubles: won with Anna Bright.
  • Mixed doubles: with Ben Johns, beat JW and Jorja Johnson 11-4, 11-4 to seal title number 200.

Bellamy's big upset

The other headline came in men's singles, where Roscoe Bellamy beat top seed Chris Haworth 11-4, 11-5 for his second career PPA Tour title. Haworth had won the Arizona Open just two weeks earlier, which made the scoreline all the more striking.

What's next

Waters skipped the following week's Virginia Beach Open, where Kate Fahey took double gold. The PPA's swing continues through Asia and Canada this month, with the Hong Kong Slam and the Ottawa event both on the calendar.
